Women are designed to birth
And bounce back instantly
Traditional cultures pampered mums as they needed to repair, and get themselves back together.
All cultures respected and revered women, and their role in creating the next generation – hence the future.
The information on traditional maternal care – belly binding, vaginal steaming, mother roasting (never, ever ice on a vulnerable woman’s body) and Maya massage is found here.
Acute (just happened)
NO ICE. Ever.
If you have before – you may want to actually get rid of the long term damage.
Steaming – as above. Gentling warmth and plant medicine
It is sore as it is damaged and needs total rest to recover. Ideally spend all day and night lying down – for a few weeks after having baby (serious). Many cultures have mum very busy being massaged, having belly wraps and binding and of course doing nothing but resting, repairing and bonding with, and nursing baby.
Never use ice on any part of your woman’s body – please download the free eBook
The use of the safe intimate care products will guarantee easy transition from just birthed to happily sitting/using your body however you want.
Chronic damage – a while ago
If the perineum has been damaged – this information will be very helpful – at least start with a little organic castor oil inside, and on the wounded areas – once they are sealed over. The use of the safe intimate care products will guarantee easy transition from just birthed to happily sitting/using body however you want
Comfrey ointment used to massage in to the wounds – esp C section – once healed – in addition to the organic castor oil – and using moxa in the sacrum and the actual scar – over the top of it – for a few minutes then following up with acupuncture or least self massage – is what may be needed – regardless of how old the scarring is. Organic castor oil is a must as it gently and completely undoes the adhesions and old scar tissue that may be embedded within – use sparingly and it will over time give you great results – even years later. Especially if old rips and stitching has taken its toll.
Many have been able to heal this at home using all the info on of all things’ birth preparation – moxa and massage for the pelvis to get the Qi and Blood flowing again – see the entire ‘What Dads Can Do’ package.
